Allows stock item codes to be changed, updating all references throughout the system
This utility allows stock item codes to be changed. The items and new codes may either be entered directly, or imported from a simple CSV file.
When the stock codes are changed, all references through the system are changed to use the new code.
As it's fairly difficult to delete stock items in Sage 200, this can be used (for example) to prefix obsolete stock codes with a "Z". Or if you're using numeric codes (eg "0001"), it could be used to add an extra zero to the front of each code.
